The Makita 5-1/2” Drill Bit Extension, 7/16" Hex Shank (D-35645) is for use with Makita drilling and fastening tools that feature 1/2” capacity chucks or a 7/16” hex drive (sold separately). The Drill Bit Extension features a set screw design that ensures a tight connection in the most demanding of applications. The D-35645 attaches to 7/16" hex shank drill bits to allow deeper drilling in wood. It is engineered with high-strength steel construction for long life.
